Sales Manager

Responsible for all sales activities for On Premise accounts. Works with the Director of On Premise Sales to develop marketing and sales goals to achieve company objectives. Provides direction for Sales Representatives and works closely with Suppliers.

· Responsible for hiring, training, and attaining results in the On Premise Sales Department
· Works closely with sales staff to oversee the sales function and to position produces to achieve maximum sales potential.
· Analyzes market statistics to develop sales initiatives and create quotas
· Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates.
· Evaluates retail accounts and identifies opportunities for increased business.
· Travels through assigned territory with sales representatives to call on regular and prospective customers.
· Assists with Sales presentations.
· Confers with Sales Representatives and retail customers to resolve problems.
· Represents company at trade association and supplier meetings.
· Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales.
· Manages expense budget and reviews with Director of Sales, On Premise.
· Attends and organizes retail promotions, some of which may be after hours.

· Is attentive to details.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Able to diagnose problems and apply accurate knowledge in solving them.
· Able to interact well with others and build effective working relationships.
· Able to motivate and mentor others.
· Able to provide courteous and timely service to customers.
· Exhibits an appropriate level of patience and tact when dealing with others.
· Able to prospect and close sales.
· Able to identify and capitalize on the strengths of others.
· Must have a valid Class D Driver’s License
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years sales experience.
· 2 Years of supervisory experience preferred.
· Valid Class D driver’s license required.
